How the Extension Works

The 432 Zone Chrome Extension operates entirely within your browser. It adjusts the playback rate of media elements on web pages to shift audio from 440Hz to 432Hz tuning. All processing happens locally on your device. No data leaves your browser.

Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage API (chrome.storage.local) to save your frequency preference (432Hz or 440Hz). This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Required Permissions

The extension requests the following browser permissions:

• storage — To save your frequency mode preference locally
• activeTab — To interact with media elements on the current page when you activate the extension
• scripting — To inject the frequency conversion script into web pages
• Host permissions (all URLs) — Required because the extension works on every website with audio or video content. The extension only modifies media playback rate and does not read or collect page content.

Website

The 432.zone website is a static informational site. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. The donation page is provided by appreciate.page, a third-party service with its own privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

The 432.zone website embeds an iframe from appreciate.page for optional donations. We do not control the data practices of appreciate.page. Please refer to their privacy policy for information about how they handle data.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
